Long Island’s BAYSIDE return this fall with the Involuntary Movement Tour, supporting the release of upcoming album Shudder. Support comes from The Matches, Valencia and The Status, and tickets go on sale on this Friday, July 18th at bayside.ducatking.com. For full dates, please refer to www.myspace.com/bayside.
The band are currently in the studio in Los Angeles recording new album Shudder, set for release on September 30, 2008. Produced by David Schiffman (Weezer, Jimmy Eat World, Johnny Cash), Shudder is the follow-up to 2007’s critically-acclaimed release The Walking Wounded, which has just been re-released as a Gold Edition, including a DVD with behind-the-scenes documentary, live show and music videos.
“I honestly feel that this is the best Bayside album that we have ever made,” explains vocalist/guitarist Anthony Raneri. “It’s probably the most youthful and energetic of all of our records and we can’t wait to bring that electricity to the stage on the Involuntary Movement Tour this Fall. The Matches, Valencia and the Status are all bands that we hold close to our hearts and when we’re enjoying ourselves on a tour, that excitement comes out on stage. I can’t explain how ready we are to get this album out and start this tour.”
