NOISE FOR THE NEEDY

Seattle-based non profit Noise For The Needy, an organization that raises money for charitable causes through the production of live music shows, has announced several more exciting additions to the lineup for this year’s festival. Adam Stephans (of Two Gallants) and his band have been added to the lineup, along with Slender Means, and a special Seattle supergroup called the Cosmic Panther Land Band. A special NFTN Emerald City Soul Club with Resident DJs Gene Balk, Mike Chrietzberg, Brian Everett, George Gell, Kenny Mac, Alvin Mangosing, Marc Muller and Mike Nipper will take place at Lo Fi on Saturday, June 13th.

Headliners for this year’s fest, which takes place in Seattle June 10th through the 14th, include the 1990s (Scotland), Art Brut (UK), The Constantines (Canada), Grand Archives, Crystal Antlers and Throw Me The Statue. This year’s fest will feature over 40 bands, and benefits Transitional Resources, a licensed mental health center and residential program located in West Seattle that offers a full spectrum of optimistic and respectful mental health services to adults with major mental illnesses.
