The Model Pilots prepare to ‘take action’ on their new release
New England natives – The Model Pilots, featuring brothers Casey and Michael Sullivan are ramping up for the release of their lead single “Hollywood Romance,” set to impact radio and the digital market place on November 16th, 2010.
The duo, which has been writing and performing music since the late nineties will be releasing their full length LP titled – Action. The album was produced by Edward Peifer and Conrad Bauer and is being released by Xact Production on February 8, 2011
In addition to The Model Pilots’ soon to be released material, the brothers Sullivan are currently writing for several other musical acts via their work with Xact Production.

Catch Villagers on Last Call with Carson Daly on Thursday!
Villagers will make their U.S. TV debut on Last Call With Carson Daly (airing 1:35am/12:35am CST). The full-band incarnation of Villagers will perform “Becoming A Jackal,” filmed live at their tour kick-off show with Ra Ra Riot at LA’s Music Box last week.

Jonny Burke to release ‘Distance and Fortune’ in February!
Austin, TX-based singer-songwriter Jonny Burke is set to release his debut full-length album, Distance And Fortune, on February 22, 2011. The album was produced by Marc Ford (Black Crowes, Ryan Bingham) at the Compound Studio in Southern California.

Talons LP pre order begins today!
Beginning today, Topshelf Records (Grown Ups, My Heart To Joy, Pianos Become The Teeth) will host pre-orders for the debut 12″ from Talons (Hereford, Midlands, UK). Entitled Hollow Realm, the vinyl will see an official release on November 23rd via Topshelf. The release marks the US label’s first release from a UK band. First pressing of the vinyl is 500 (100 Black – Tour Exclusive, 150 Solid White, and 250 Clear.). British imprint Big Scary Monsters will be releasing the CD on November 15th.
