Estrella: Could you please state your name?
Brantley: Brantley Gilbert.
Estrella: It’s the fourth day of the Country Throwdown tour, how has the tour been for you so far?
Brantley: Great, it’s been a lot of fun.
Estrella: What do you anticipate for the rest of the tour?
Brantley: If everything keeps going like its going, I don’t think we’ll have a problem.
Estrella: So Halfway to Heaven was released in March, what was the recording process like and how long did it take you to do the whole album?
Brantley: Well, we recorded it in Athens, GA and then we came up to Nashville and did some mixing and added some things. It was a pretty cool process. My first album …Prodigal Son, there was a big difference between this one and that one.
Estrella: What was it like when you had found out you had peaked #2 on the Itunes on the Country Album Chart and #1 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart for all genres?
Brantley: You know, it was definitely pretty wild. I wasn’t expected any of that was coming.
Estrella: What are your upcoming plans you have for after the Country Throwdown tour?
Brantley: I reckon long tours for us.
Estrella: If you were stranded on a desert island, what are three things you’d take with you?
Brantley: A guitar, I’d have to have a bunch of Fuzes. I like them Fuze drinks, I love them. Probably a boat.
Estrella: What are three things that could always be found in your fridge?
Brantley: Nothing. It’s always empty because I’m never home. Fuze, water, and probably some beer in there.
Estrella: Do you have any crazy tour stories that you’re willing to share?
Brantley: None that I can put on record.
Estrella: What is your favorite Halloween costume you’ve ever worn?
Brantley: I never really was big on Halloween, but I did go to a Halloween party last year dressed up as Dog, the Bounty Hunter.
Estrella: Do you have any advice for anybody who wants to go on the Country Throwdown Tour? Like what would you tell them right before they embark on it?
Brantley: Buckle your seatbelt.
Estrella: Is there anything you would want your fans to know that they don’t already know?
Brantley: I need some more tank tops. I’m out of tank tops. It’s hot out here.
Estrella: Do you have any closing statements?
Brantley: Thank you very much for having me.
