YOU are making WOLFTRON’s new video!

What?? Crazy! Here’s how it will go down:

1.) Setup a webcam or video camera and grab your instrument or tool of choice (friends welcome).

2.) Perform “Blueberry Waves” for the camera. You can play any instrument you want, or no instrument at all! Here are some instrument suggestions: Guitar, Vocals, Bass, Drums, Keyboard, Keytar, Sitar, Skin Flute, Hamburger Horn, Washtub Bass, Kazoo, Church Organ, Church Choir, etc.

Please remember: You can do ANYTHING for your video content, such as: lip-syncing, painting, running, dancing, back-flipping, Pog -trading, animation, etc.! Be insirped and be creative.

3.) Send us the video file to wolftron@eyeballrecords.com using one of the following sites: Senduit, Yousendit, Sendspace. We prefer the following file formats: mov, mp4, avi.

4.) If chosen, we use part of your clip in the final video for “Blueberry Waves”!

“Bikes Not Bombs” Concert – August 2!

Rock bands usually travel to their gigs in a bus or van.

But CHAD STOKES, lead singer and guitarist for the musically inventive and socio-politically conscious STATE RADIO, will ride his own bicycle to the band’s August 2 show at Bank of America Pavilion on the Boston Harbor, the group’s hometown. It’s his way of encouraging fans to reduce their carbon footprint by arriving by bicycle or taking public transportation to this special concert to raise awareness for the Bikes Not Bombs organization (http://www.stateradio.com/action). NEVERSHOUTNEVER! on MTV’s Total Request Live, EP released today

Online success story NeverShoutNever! will be performing a song from THE YIPPEE EP live on MTV’s Total Request Live during a new performance segment called “On Your Radar,” which takes a look at some of the most popular unsigned artists online and showcases their talents on live TV. The episode will air on tomorrow, Wednesday, July 30 at 3pm.
Additionally, NeverShoutNever! makes their debut release today, July 29, with THE YIPPEE EP available from all digital retailers, including iTunes. The CD version of the EP is also available from SmartPunk, Interpunk, and MerchNow.  Each retailer has a different value-added promotion.

FLATFOOT 56 announce fall tour dates supporting STREET DOGS

Since the year 2000, FLATFOOT 56 have steadily unleashed a rollicking barrage of Celtic punk and folk-tinged hardcore from the South Side of Chicago to an international audience with intense and positive party-like energy. The band’s latest album, JUNGLE OF THE MIDWEST SEA, tightly packs the quartet’s eclectic and driving musical charge into fourteen tracks that celebrate the pride of the working class and their Chicago roots.

To add to their always in-progress and non-stop tour schedule, FLATFOOT 56 have announced a string of dates supporting Street Dogs this fall. FLATFOOT 56 join the tour on September 16 in Jacksonville, Florida and will bring the band’s live intensity to the East coast, Midwest and Southwest through October 19 (additional dates will be announced soon).

THE HONORARY TITLE VINYL

The Honorary Title will be releasing the vinyl version of the 2007’s Scream & Light Up the Sky on August 19 via Doghouse Records. The initial pressing of the gatefold double LP is 1,000 copies with a limited number of 500 on red vinyl. The vinyl version includes 2 bonus tracks not available on the CD version of the album.
