07.28.05 HELLFEST 2K5 – ZERO TOLERANCE!
“For the past eight years Hellfest has maintained an almost spotless safety recordless a very minor setback last year. This year, Hellfest has made the decision to make adjustments to our safety policy. This years mottoZERO TOLERENCE. Hellfest takes our fans safety as a serious matter. The bands support it, so should you. We’ve all heard the speech from the pit, you know, the one found in almost all bands hardcore handbook that starts like this”We’re all family here. If someone falls down, you pick them up.” We live by that, but we are very aware that not everyone is always 100% willing to cooperate. We’re not naive and we know you aren’t either.
In the past Hellfest has had the t-shirt enforced security on site to ensure everyones safety, this year we’ve upped the anty. We understand with the growing numbers and popularity of Hellfest, our security needed an upgrade. This year we’ve not only welcomed back our faithful t-shirt security to enforce safety on and around all stage areas, but weve enlisted armed security and police officers stationed at all other locations, available within arms reach in case of an emergency. The increased security isn’t to ruin anyone’s fun, but to keep the hardcore scene about things the scene was built on: music, ethics, DIY attitude and the family mentality.
Hellfest fans are on the top of our list. We want the best bands, skateboarders, tattoo artists, merchandise, catering and above all else, the best security. In case theres any confusion on our definition of ZERO TOLERENCE, we offer you an easy to understand list of consequences. The first incident of disorderly conduct will result in the ejection of all parties involved, arrests will be made and you will receive a fine up to a possible $1000. The Sovereign Bank Arena has welcomed Hellfest with open arms, lets show them the utmost respect from the hardcore scene. Jail is one place the Hellfest and Sovereign Bank Arena staffs dont want to see you on the weekend of Hellfest. Whether you purchased a three-day pass or a one day ticket, we don’t want any unnecessary incidents happening what cause anyone to miss the most talked about festival of the summer.”

A message from Angel Juarbe, in representation of Halfwayhome/Death Scene/Equal Vision :
“Hello all, Just wanted to let everyone know that we have begun listing items that have been donated to help aid Keith Watton. If you do not know the story, Keith (Drummer of Halfwayhome) was seriously injured in an accident at the end of May that has left him paralyzed from the chest down. He has a long road ahead him in terms of recovery and his treatment is very expensive. So we have established an Ebay account and are selling off various items that have been donated by friends, bands, labels etc. Please check out the auctions here and bookmark this page as we will be adding lots more and even cooler items over the coming days and weeks:
Auctions to benefit Keith.
Right now there are tons of CD’s, and DVD’s listed. We will have lots of signed and limited items coming up from bands such as Taking Back Sunday, Circa Survie, Copeland, Armor For Sleep etc. So please keep checking back and please bid knowing that your money will be going to help out someone who really needs the help.”

07.06.05 BEWARE OF FAKE TICKETS AT THE WARPED TOUR!
Fanscape has sent out an email addressing the following :
“First off, THANK YOU to all of you who have been coming out to the shows so far this summer. The tour has been insane and is already up there with past years!
Unfortunately, there are some people out there who will try to scam you and take your money at the shows. Please — DO NOT BUY ANYTHING in the parking lot or outside of the venue.
Anyone who is trying to sell you a laminated pass, a wrist band pass, or a ticket is most likely scamming you. We have been seeing all kinds of fakes being sold at the shows and THEY WILL NOT WORK. Security will take them from you and you’ll have lost some hard earned cash. That’s not very cool and is definitely not a fun way to start off your day.
So beware and only buy from trusted sources. The last thing we want is to see all of you getting ripped off and having a lousy day.
With that said, we’ll see ya at the show!

See ya in the pit, The Warped Crew”
