WE SHOT THE MOON TO RELEASE ‘A SILVER LINING’ OCTOBER 27

WE SHOT THE MOON will release their sophomore LP A SILVER LINING October 27 on Minneapolis-based label Afternoon Records. In September, the group will offer early listens of the infectious A SILVER LINING to fans via the Absolute Punk.net website. The site will stream the captivating first single “Red Night” Wednesday, September 2, followed by a full album stream September 15 in advance of the digital release on September 29. The group, who logged more than 300 live dates in 2008, will launch “The Silver Lining” headlining U.S. tour September 3 with support from Mansions and The Record Life on the West Coast and Lights Resolve and Destry on the East Coast.

MANBOX IS COMING…

Manbox (Mansions + Weatherbox= Manbox) is Christopher Browder and Brian Warren. Manbox will release their debut EP in April 2009. The EP was recorded and “produced” by Mr. Browder in his “home.”

Mansions to Release Debut Full-Length w/ Massive B-Sides Disc

Prolific recording and touring artist, Mansions, who on record is Christopher Browder, is set to release the band’s debut full-length, New Best Friends, on March 3 via Doghouse Records. The release will include the 12-song studio release on Disc 1, followed by a bonus MP3 CD on Disc 2, featuring the entire MP3 Initiative (http://www.doghouserecords.com/mansionsepinitiative/), a 7 EP project the band released throughout late 2008.

A pre-order for the double-disc will launch next week and will include an 11×17″ poster plus a 5×5″ original water color painting by Christopher (limited to 200, each one being complete different and therefore unique).

Additionally, the band will be touring with labelmates Weatherbox throughout March and April. Confirmed dates to follow soon. Full album tracklisting below.
