He Is We announce tour with The Rocket Summer

On the cusp of releasing their debut full-length on Universal Motown this November, alt-pop duo He Is We recently announced a lengthy run of tour dates supporting The Rocket Summer. Kicking off on October 10th in Orlando, the two-month trek spans both coasts and marks He Is We’s first full tour of the U.S. He Is We will take a day off on The Rocket Summer tour to support Yellowcard on Nov 13th in Pomona, CA at the Glass House, which is one of Yellowcard’s highly-anticipated U.S. shows this year.

The Rocket Summer Premieres “You Gotta Believe” On AOL Music

Another successful tour wraps up this weekend for The Rocket Summer, as frontman, songwriter and multi-instrumental mastermind Bryce Avary looks ahead to the release of his long-awaited second major label album release on Island Records, OF MEN AND ANGELS, scheduled to arrive February 23, 2010.

In advance of the album release, the 4-song EP You Gotta Believe was issued by The Rocket Summer in October, at the same time its title track premiered on AlternativePress.com as the new single. Coinciding with the EP release, The Rocket Summer returned to the road, for a 34-city North American tour. On January, 9 2010 Bryce Avary will be joining the “Heavy and Light” benefit show in Orlando, FL at The House of Blues. “Heavy and Light” show is meant to challenge, inspire and encourage people. After more than two years of non-stop touring as The Rocket Summer, frontman, songwriter and multi-instrumental mastermind Bryce Avary has finally been able to put the finishing touches on his second major label album release on Island Records, OF MEN AND ANGELS, due to arrive early next year. Single “You Gotta Believe” will premier on AlternativePress.com on October 19th. Fans can hear early teases of the song on the site week of October 12th.

Two days before the You Gotta Believe EP release, the Rocket Summer returns to the road, for a 34-city North American tour with Forever the Sickest Kids, opening October 25th in Oklahoma City, ending six weeks later in San Francisco on December 5th.
