Beginning on Friday, Michigan’s Empire! Empire! (I Was A Lonely Estate) will embark on a short Winter tour in support of its two latest releases on Count Your Lucky Stars.
Over a year in the making, the band’s debut full-length, What It Takes To Move Forward, shows some major growth for the quartet. With a more varied songwriting pallette, Empire! Empire! shape its emo heritage into a bold indie rock album full of progression while still maitaining a striking air of familiarity.

Empire! Empire! (I Was A Lonely Estate) has also recently released new vinyl in the form of a Split 7″ with label mates Football, Etc. The record was co-released by the band’s own Count Your Lucky Stars label and UK distro strictly no capital letters. You can pick up a copy of the 7″ from either one.
