This Time Next Year – Record new album with Chad Gilbert of New Found Glory

This Time Next Year is happy to announce that they will enter the studio in early January with producer, and New Found Glory guitarist, Chad Gilbert [A Day To Remember, H20, Fireworks] to record the follow-up to their 2009 release, Road Maps and Heart Attacks.

The studio time will unfortunately conflict with the previously announced tour with Transit and Daytrader. All east coast tour dates for This Time Next Year have officially been cancelled. A message from the band can be seen below:

We’re bummed to have to cancel the upcoming tour with Transit and Daytrader. They are great friends of ours and helped us out a ton with setting up this tour. They will still be doing the tour and Into It. Over It. has been added to several of the dates. They will be really great shows and we hope that you can all still make it out and support our friends.

We hope you all know that we would never cancel a show or tour unless we had a great reason for it. We’ve been writing and demoing for a while now and have been anxious to get into the studio, so when the opportunity to record with Chad presented itself, we couldn’t pass it up. We start pre-production in early January and couldn’t be more excited to record our new music. Thank you so much to everyone who has expressed interest in our band and in the tour. We promise to make it up to those who planned on coming out to the East Coast shows and are looking forward to sharing our new album with everyone in the new year.

THIS TIME NEXT YEAR ‘ROAD MAPS & HEART ATTACKS’ – CHOOSE YOUR OWN PRICE

As the music industry is adapting to new technologies, it seems as though everyone has forgotten why we’re all here: the music. Equal Vision Records & This Time Next Year have introduced a new system to give music to anyone who is willing to listen. Fans can “choose your own price” – from $0 to $1,000,000 it is it up to the fan to decide what to pay for the music. Fans also have options in what types of files to download – mp3, AAC, FLAC, or Apple Lossless – for those who are concerned about the quality, unlike other music download options. Additionally, the file previews aren’t limited to :30 like iTunes or Amazon. Listeners can hear the full album in a number of places, including the download website.

Fans still wanting to purchase a physical copy can do so through MerchNow, Amazon, FYE, or Best Buy.
