Owl City – Announces Spring 2010 Tour Dates

Owl City announces a Spring headlining tour of the US kicking off on March 30th in Boise, ID and hitting every major US market including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, San Francisco, Denver, DC and more before ending on May 2nd in Milwaukee. The tour will come on the heels of a headlining tour of Europe and the UK as well as a tour of Australia where they’ll be joining up with Cobra Starship. In addition, the Spring headlining tour will be Owl City’s second Stateside headlining tour in 2010 as the band is heading out on a sold out Winter tour in January.

The Architects – On Tour with Flogging Molly

After spending their entire Summer on the Vans Warped Tour, The Phillips brothers – Brandon, Zach, Adam – and their best friend Keenan, otherwise known as THE ARCHITECTS are packing their bags again for another cross country trek in support of their fourth album THE HARD WAY (Skeleton Crew). Pianos Become The Teeth – Pre-Order New CD!

Topshelf Records (Defeater, My Heart To Joy) is excited to announce that Old Pride, the label’s highly anticipated first release of 2010 from hardcore outfit Pianos Become The Teeth, is now available for pre-order.

The Baltimore band’s sophomore full-length is set for a digital release on January 12th and a physical release on January 26th. However, pre-orders will be shipping earlier.

The band is streaming a new track, “Pensive”, on its Myspace page. The song “Filial” is still available as a free mp3 as well.

Finally, Pianos Become The Teeth is gearing up for its January release shows in NJ, MA and NY, followed by a short release tour of the Southeast with In The Hollows.

Owl City’s ‘Ocean Eyes’ Certified Gold

Owl City’s album Ocean Eyes has been certified gold as 2009 draws to a close, making this year a HUGE success for Minnesota’s Adam Young. What started as a project in the basement of his parent’s house has turned into an international phenomenon, sending Adam to the top of the charts and playing to energetic crowds in renowned venues across the US, China, and Japan!

Not only has Ocean Eyes gone gold, but the album’s first single “Fireflies” reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 twice and it is still sitting in the Top 5!

Owl City will hit the road on a Winter headlining tour of the US that is already sold out! Then, the band will head overseas for a headlining tour of the UK and Europe and then over to Australia and New Zealand where they’ll be joining up with Cobra Starship.
