Anarbor release “Gypsy Woman” video

This morning Phoenix rockers Anarbor debuted the video for their track “Gypsy Woman” exclusively on mtvU and mtvU.com. The track is off their debut Hopeless Records full length, The Words You Don’t Swallow.

Anarbor has lent its track “You And I” from its Hopeless Records debut EP Free Your Mind to the upcoming Cartoon Network movie, Scooby Doo: The Mystery Begins.

The film will premiere on Cartoon Network on Sunday, September 13 and will be released on DVD and Blu-Ray on September 22. The home video version will include the music video for Anarbor’s “You And I” which premiered on Cartoon Network on August 2 following the weekend-long Scooby Doo marathon, and has been airing in between shows all month long.

Anarbor Announce New Tour Dates With The Cab and The Secret Handshake

Anarbor have been touring non stop since the release of Free Your Mind, their second EP for Hopeless Records. With a winter long stint on the 2009 Take Action Tour (alongside Cute is What We Aim For, Breathe Carolina, Meg & Dia and Every Avenue) behind them and a tour with Forgive Durden and You Me and Everyone We Know currently underway, the band has just announced plans to tour with The Cab and The Secret Handshake starting June 18. Watch for them on the Vans Warped Tour from July 15-18th.

Anarbor’s music recently showed up in The Hills season premiere on MTV, and the band’s appearance on the nationally-syndicated show Beta Records TV has just posted on the Beta Records website. Anarbor Premiere “The Brightest Green” Video Exclusively on Buzznet

Phoenix, AZ pop-rock band Anarbor have released their new video for “The Brightest Green”, exclusively on Buzznet.com. Anarbor’s upcoming seven-track EP, Free Your Mind is set to release tomorrow and is currently available for pre-order.

Free Your Mind extends beyond the cut-and-paste albums being churned out, instead infusing dynamic guitars behind the soul-shaking howls and relatable melodies from frontman Slade Echeverria. Crafted in Los Angeles by producer Mike Green (Paramore, Good Charlotte) over a four-week span in Los Angeles, Free Your Mind’s formation came from a desire to break out from the “fad band” chokehold and delve into what was real.

Anarbor is currently on the 2009 Sub City Take Action Tour, Presented by FYE. The 2009 lineup features headliner Cute Is What We Aim For, along with Breathe Carolina, Meg & Dia, and Every Avenue. The annual nationwide charity tour, now in its eighth year, raises funds and awareness for youth involvement in charitable action.

Hopeless Records, in coordination with the non-profit organization Sub City has just announced details for its eighth CD/DVD benefit compilation. The CD/DVD compilation will be available on tour and in stores February 17th and will include unreleased tracks from Meg & Dia, The Spill Canvas, and Four Year Strong, as well as unreleased videos from Rise Against and All Time Low.5% of the suggested retail price for each Take Action! Volume 8 unit sold is donated to DoSomething.org.

The charitable release coincides with the 2009 SUB CITY TAKE ACTION TOUR, PRESENTED BY F.Y.E., which begins on February 11th in Sauget, IL. Like the compilation, the tour benefits DoSomething.org with 10% of the ticket sale proceeds donated to the charity. Fans will be able to pick up the compilation from the f.y.e booth at every Take Action Tour stop after February 17th, along with the releases from the tour’s lineup- Cute Is What We Aim For, Breathe Carolina, Meg & Dia, Every Avenue, and Anarbor.
