PORTUGAL. THE MAN TO PLAY FREE SHOW AT APPLE STORE SOHO

On Friday, during the CMJ Music Marathon in New York City, Portugal. The Man will be doing a FREE in-store performance at the Apple Store in SoHo.

The event will be professionally recorded and will soon be available exclusively through the iTunes Music Store.

A WILHELM SCREAM SET RELEASE DATE FOR NEW EP AND DEBUT TRACK ON REVOLVERMAG.COM TODAY

Today Paper + Plastick Records is excited to unveil the track listing, album artwork and set a release date of November 20th for A Wilhelm Scream’s highly anticipated self-titled EP. In the label’s typical fashion, this EP will be available on 12” vinyl with a die cut gatefold jacket as well as available for digital download through the label’s website www.paperandplastick.com. To coincide with this announcement the band has teamed up with Revolver Magazine to premiere the track “Bulletproof Tiger,” which can be heard here: http://tinyurl.com/aws-tiger.

The band, who have released three albums in four years on Nitro Records, took some time off from the constant touring/writing/recording cycle of the past to focus on this new EP. Fans need not worry though, as the band is currently out on the road across the US, and will be making an appearance at this year’s edition of The Fest. “The reason for this long break from touring is because we took a crack at recording ourselves,” guitarist/vocalist Trevor Reilly recently stated. “This five song EP is an eclectic mix of all the avenues the band have gone down since Mute Print–and we’ll be throwing them into the sets on these upcoming tours.”

MOTION CITY SOUNDTRACK ‘MY DINOSAUR LIFE’

Motion City Soundtrack confirm My Dinosaur Life as the title of their new album and Columbia Records debut. The album was produced by Blink-182’s Mark Hoppus, who first teamed up with the boys in 2005 when he produced Commit This to Memory, and mixed by Andy Wallace (Nirvana, Rage Against the Machine, Sonic Youth). To give fans their first taste of what’s to come, the band will be releasing “Disappear” – their first new studio song in more than two years – exclusively through iTunes on October 20th.

Motion City Soundtrack has not only built up a reputation for their catchy songs and idiosyncratic lyrics, but as a very visual band with their elaborate and smart videos. LUDO ‘BROKEN BRIDE’ RE-RELEASE & ON TOUR NOW!

LUDO has recently re-released their out-of-print self-titled debut album and their 2005 rock opera Broken Bride on their own Redbird Records.

To celebrate, the band has hit the road performing the entirety of Broken Bride and deep cuts in small venues.

Deas Vail sign with Mono vs Stereo, with 1 full length and 2 EP’s already under their belt the band gets set to release their sophomore full length album Birds & Cages at all digital outlets and available for purchase at all tour dates on October 27 with non-stop touring well into 2010. TITLE FIGHT – ON TOUR WITH NEW FOUND GLORY

On Sunday, Title Fight (Kingston, PA), leaves for a three week trek across the U.S with New Found Glory and Fallen From The Sky. The band is touring support of its latest release, The Last Thing You Forget, released earlier this summer on Run For Cover.
